"Like Dobzhansky, Timofeeff-Ressovsky attended the Sixth International Congress of Genetics in Ithaca, New York, in 1932, heard Wright speak, and was greatly impressed. Indeed, as in Dobzhansky's case, Timofeeff-Ressovsky's conception of the evolutionary process thereafter bore the strong stamp of Wright's concenptions. Timofeeff-Ressovsky published three major papers on evolution in nature (Buzzati-Traverso, Jucci, and Timofeeff-Ressovsky 1938, Timofeeff-Ressovsky 1939, 1940). All three reflected Wright's ideas."
